Privacy Policy

Cornerstone Circles is a Bible study app for small groups called Circles. A Circle's Facilitator creates Lessons — a scripture reference and optional discussion questions — and Circle members write threaded Posts responding to a Lesson.

1. What is stored, and where: A Circle and its Lessons and Posts are stored in the Facilitator's private iCloud account, in a database zone that Apple's CloudKit shares with invited Members through a CKShare. Chainbreaker Technology LLC does not operate a server that stores this content and cannot read it — it is held under Apple's iCloud terms and security, not ours.

2. Who can see it: A Post becomes visible to the Facilitator and the other Members of that same Circle once submitted, and to no one outside it. A Member who leaves a Circle loses access to its data, including their own past Posts.

3. Scripture lookups: The app bundles the King James Version for offline reading. Reading a Lesson's passage in a different translation sends only the scripture reference and translation choice to the Free Use Bible API (bible.helloao.org) to fetch that text — no account or personal information is attached to that request.

4. What we do not do: We do not sell or share your data with third parties, run advertising, or track you across other apps or websites.
